It's accurate to 1 degree C, which is brilliant. Some digital probes can't be left "plugged into" roasting meat, because the cable isn't heat proof. This one is. It has some preset cooking temperatures for different meats which aren't bad, and it can be programmed to sound an alarm when a preset temperature has been reached which is very useful.

I can't say I use it daily, but when I need an accurate probe it's perfect. So far, I've only once found the upper temperature limit to be any kind of limitation. Rating: 5 / 5 I used this probe to test my digital oven before doings some slow roasting.
