yes, digital and they read to the .00
Do they even sell mercury thermometers anymore?
You can (or could) buy special mercury BBT thermometers are are made specifically for this purpose; they have larger numbers and don’t go up as high as fever themometers, so they are easier to read.
You can either use one of those, or a regular digital thermometer. (If you buy a digital, be sure it will store the reading for a while. It’s nice, when you wake at 6 a.m. and pop the thermometer in your mouth while half asleep, to be able to just put it down after it beeps, and read it later.
I bought the one from boots its digital the first one i bought was faulty but they are v good especially when ur half asleep in the morning lol!!
Good Luck x
They make them both ways… some prefer the old-fashioned mercury style, but I agree with you, there’s no way I could do it! The digital kind reads to XX.XX and as long as the batteries are good they are much more accurate. Here in the States you can get one at Walmart for like $10.00, not too expensive. I’d invest in the digital brand and save yourself some hassle and reduce the confusion.
I say that the digital ones are better. They are more accurate.
Usually digital… I got mine from Tesco. Its a good one!
I can imagine reading a mercury in the mornings would be hard, especially in the mornings when you hardly awake!
Good luck hun x
