Great simple product. So far so good! (which is saying a lot as my last meat thermometer spontaneously exploded in the oven!)

I wondered why all my meat which was supposed to be rare was always made well done with this meter. It turned out it was off by about 10 degrees when I compared it to two electric ones.

On top of that it fogged up completely after three usages, making it impossible to see what temperature it was.

My destroyed meals was worth way more than I saved on bying a cheap meat temperature meter. Avoid this one, buy the proper stuff.

Great value and helps get meat spot on – the Sunday pork roast was noticeably moister than usual using this thermometer. It will also be very handy for the barbeque.

My oven has lied about the temperature within since I moved in. Sometimes it’s not even a little lie. It seems I have one of a rare breed of ovens which are compulsive liars and it’s become very hard to believe anything it says.

With sore emotional wounds and undercooked roasts it was time to take action. The action was to buy this meat thermometer. I decided to put it through it’s paces immediately and entrusted the cooking of a beef sunday roast. Not just any beef sunday roast you understand. This was a beef sunday roast cooked at the girlfriends parents house.

My concern turned out to be unfounded and a perfectly cooked joint was enjoyed by all, to rave reviews. Meat thermometer… I salute you

I am really pleased with this meat thermometer.

All you have to do is stick the spike into the

thickest part of the meat, whilst still raw,

if you are using foil, have the dial face poking

through foil so it’s on the outside.

Put in the oven making sure the dial is facing

towards the oven door. Then proceed to cook in

the usual way.

The dial has the meats and temperatures listed:

Ham, full cooked,

Beef rare,

Ham cured,

Beef medium,

Veal boneless,

Turkey roll,

Pork, fresh,

Beef, well,

Lamb, medium,

Turkey, fresh

Once the dial points to the meat you have

cooked, it’s done.

To double check after cooking, just place the

spike into other areas. (The pointer reacts

quickly).

A fantastic product that I will never be without

again. I highly recommend it.
