Big Bear Ron This was my first time using coconut like this in a stir fry. I was very pleased with the results, but I made so much I had left overs to use in quesadillas (darn it!) the next day (I smell a video coming). You know! I wonder if I got that from her! There ain’t no replacing that gal! I’m so glad I got to grow up watching her!
I am sure that you are a great cook! I really like the Julia Child touch when your take food to the dining table and pour yourself a glass of wine. Bon appetite!
It’s inexpensive. Get it already smoked. Slice thin and trim away a bit of the fat and cook like bacon till most of the remaining fat is cooked out. Drain, and enjoy.
Looks great as always Ron — never had hog jawl though.
Yummmmm

Make it fun!
I sliced the smoked jawl thin and fried out most of the fat. It turned out much like bacon in texture and flavor.
Hog gowl and coconut!,Now that’s fusion cooking..LOL..
Interesting combination of things for a stir fry. I may try a few of those. Thanks for the ideas,
D
