I have now bought 4 of these items, they are pretty, unlike the round plastic ones. The first two were fine, the second two arrived damaged, however there was no problem with getting them replaced for no extra charge, although one of the replacements arrived damaged. This was also replaced free of charge. The glue which holds the thermometer was either missing or had not worked, but this was easily remedied. I would recommend this item.
