Used it for making toffee. Afterwards I let it sit in some warm water. Amazingly the ink had sloughed off the thermometer - and that was without even trying to 'clean' it! Totally fed up with this - have bought 3 of these in the past and they have all ended up this way. Not Fit for Purpose. Don't the manufacturers of these realise that? <br />Get me an old-fashioned engraved one anyday.
